 Costs are always a major concern when booking a product photographer, its important to keep your product photographs looking premium, your website is your shop window and you rely on highly professional imagery to display your products in the best possible light to your potential customers. We aim to keep our product and packshots photography prices as low as possible, our packshot prices start from as low as £6.00 per image depending on what you are having photographed and also the numbers, however what ever your product it will not cost more than £10 per image for packshots. Different products require different amounts of times spent on them.  There is no getting away from the importance of clear and well lit professional photographs which ever platform you choose to sell your products on. We regularly photograph products for a companies own e-commerce site using platforms such as Big Commerce, Shopify, Square, Wix, Ecwid and WooCommerce, or other seller sites  and social networking sites such as Amazon, Not on the high street, Ebay, Etsy, Instagram and Facebook.  I was reading on shopify that  “50% of online shoppers think that product photos are more important than product information, reviews, and ratings,”  t his really did not surprise me, when you think in 2021 2.14 billion people worldwide are expected to buy on line compared to 1.66 billion in 2016 and the number keep rising. What is a packshot photography

Packshot photography is the same as product photography, it is the product photographers job to create great looking packshots though amazing photography, the subject should be well lit and clear showing the actual product what ever it may be in the best possible light without any distractions.  The packshot is the most common form of product photography, generally it is shot on a white or uniform background, it can either be shot by the packshot photographer with a small shadow underneath or without shadow at all, some of my clients want their products to be shot on a colored background which is not a problem but continuity is key. Packshots are widely used on websites and printed catalogues. The press often ask for packshots on an invisible background, this is where the product is cut out away from the background, the type of file produced is a tiff file and this enables the user to be able to place it over any type of background.

Happy New Year everybody January 2021 is very busy for all good product photographers especially with all the new season products being uploaded onto websites with so many business are going online, its such a great way of small shops to get out there and be noticed. Photography for social media is on the increase

  As a product and pack shot photographer I have noticed recently the photography studio is keeping very busy and has been receiving many requests for social media photography as they are posting reguarly on sites such as instagram, facebook, tumblr and twitter, especially as more companies are going online and all competing to appear on the first page of a google search or to gain large followings.  It is a fact that google favor websites with great professional images as do many of the social media platforms. For the past few months I have been out there collecting all manner of props to add content to my product photographs,  I really enjoy getting creative with knolling photography I have quite a collection of colored cards, beautiful fabrics, china, glass, wood and stone along with various vintage items such as old cameras and opera glasses. Pack shot photography on the increase

We are now mid July, I can hardly believe it! I am really heartened to see what appears to be an increase in small business's as Im finding myself having the privilege of photographing for more and more of them. As people are spending less time in the high street it seems and more time online. Specialising in product photographs and packshot photography seems to have been the right path for me to take, ever mindful of the huge over heads business's have I really do my best to keep my prices as low and as competitive as possible as well as keeping the final images punchy and high end to ensure the final image looks as good as and if not better than the actual product. I love photographing products, its always great to see new fashions and the latest gadgets and beautiful items being delivered by couriers and landing on my door step to be photographed for someones e-commerce website.
